Live like it's spring

Being sick was not easy. I became very depressed because working as a sub-teacher was supposed to be my distraction and that was taken away from me. Plus, I lost my voice and that was very frustrating. I am still not 100 % okay but after a rough weekend I am turning my mood around. It's just about hitting that wall and choosing to change your state of mind. It's okay to feel sorry for yourself once in a while. But when you start getting upset about things that aren't reasonable to be upset about, you're kind of letting yourself down. I am known among my friends for being a very reasonable person and it is something that I take pride in, so I don't want to sink that low. I watched some "how to pick yourself up" videos and got some good ideas, haha! Every night I am going to write down five goals and dreams that I have. I will also write down five good things that happened that day. Today my goal is to get out of the house and take an hour long walk. It's good for both my mental health and physical health. I am done staring at these four walls. The weather has been great lately so I want to take advantage of that and get out of the house more. It's gonna get cloudy again on Wednesday and the rest of the week but I am gonna make sure that I enjoy it anyway.

I am so tired right now even though it is just noon, because I stayed up all night. It's my own fault really since I took a long nap during the day. But I ended up video chatting with Nick half of the night too and after that there was no way I'd be able to fall asleep. So I got out of bed at 9 am and video chatted with Nick and Rachel since he was hanging out with her and John :) It was so good to see her. I haven't video chatted with any of my friends in America, I really gotta start doing that!

Leaving the house for the first time in 11 days. I just went to the grocery story but to finally be able to go outside felt amazing. I don't know what kind of virus I got it but it hit me hella hard. This is the only picture that I look decent in, in the rest I have big dark circles under my eyes and look terrible haha :P but hey, give me a break!
Eating the breakfast part of this one day meal thing that Sofie got for me ;) haha! Breakfast was delicious, as well as lunch and dinner!!
I was supposed to bring Roger the elephant with me to Sweden but decided in the last minute that he took up too much space. Happy to see that he is in good hands with Nick :P
Showing Nick everything that I have saved in my closet for our first home together
My boys!!!
Lovin' that beard...
Such sunny and beautiful weather. It's warm enough to not have to wear hats and gloves any more. We have had up to 10 degrees celsius warm (34 F).
Met up with Jasmine yesterday and had a yummy carrot cupcake at Espresso house :) Talking to her once in a while helps a lot since we are somewhat in the same situation with our boyfriends living in other countries. She has gone through the whole visa process too so she can relate.
Back talking to Mr Mortal Kombat :P haha
Rachel!!! <3 :)
I think Nick looks like a cowboy here ;)
